Travelling from abroad
Sponsor letter for your visa application
If you're an international MCT and need a visa to travel to Ireland, we can provide a sponsor letter to support your application once your ticket is confirmed.
Do I need a visa for Ireland?
That depends on your nationality. Ireland is not part of the Schengen Area, so a Schengen visa doesn't cover travel here, and Ireland has its own visa requirements separate from the rest of the EU. Check whether you need a visa, and how to apply, with the official Irish immigration authorities or your nearest Irish embassy or consulate well ahead of the summit.
What is a sponsor letter?
A sponsor letter is a short letter from the MCT Summit Dublin 2027 organising team confirming your registration for the summit. Many visa applications ask for a letter like this to support your application, alongside your own supporting documents.
How do I request one?
Sponsor letters are issued only once your ticket purchase is confirmed. If you think you'll need one, register first, then contact the organising team through the Team page or the registration platform to request your letter.
A sponsor letter supports your visa application, it doesn't guarantee a visa will be granted. You're responsible for your own visa application and travel arrangements, so apply as early as you can once your ticket is confirmed.
